A weekend back in Fresno

This last weekend Andrew & I headed up to Fresno for a weekend visit with Lauren and Janine.

We had plans for such a fun weekend, but unfortunately the weather forecast got in the way. We planned on heading to Shaver Lake on Saturday for some kayaking, but when we arrived to Fresno on Friday we looked at the forecast and Shaver was expecting thunderstorms for Saturday and the rest of the week. We decided to wait until Saturday morning to see if there were any changes, but there weren't and we didn't want to head up there with the same plans in mind and risk our lives out on the lake, so we stayed in town instead.

We slept in pretty late on Saturday morning since we didn't go to bed until pretty late Friday night {catching up after a month of not seeing each other takes time!} We decided to make Friday a craft/movie day. So we headed over to Michaels to find some craft supplies & it ended up being that we all decided to decorate frames, I mean for a dollar per frame who wouldn't want to do that! We enjoyed ourselves while working on crafts and making it a relaxing day {these two work extremely hard in school trying to make it through their nursing program, so they needed a relaxing day, plus Andrew was such a trooper and didn't even complain while we did crafts, what a guy!}

We also made cupcakes for dessert, which were extremely tasty! Devils Food Chocolate cake mix, with chocolate frosting & sprinkles. Perfect combo!!!

That was about the extent of the pictures I took for the weekend, since it was pretty relaxing & we basically just enjoyed each others company. Can't wait to see these girls again! It's always fun with them, no matter what we do!!!

Oh & to document that Andrew really was there {since I didn't get any pictures of him during the trip}, we took one on our drive back home!

This weekend we are celebrating Hailee's 3rd birthday! Anyone else have any fun plans for the weekend?
